20mm white robust conduit proftech

Falcon 3 metre conduit is used to help guide cables and wiring around the home \/ site or work place.<\/p>\n

Each length is manufactured from robust heavy gauge PVC which offers protection for the cable.<\/p>\n

20mm conduit is available in either black or white.<\/p>\n

For surface mounting and containment of low voltage cabling<\/p>\n

A range of moulded accessories facilitate both the mounting of and accommodation of direction changes & terminations.<\/p>\n

May be bent with the use of the applicable size and type of bending spring (Green Tip)<\/p>\n

Manufactured to the applicable requirements of BS EN 61386-1:2008<\/p>\n

PVC-u (Poly Vinyl Chloride \u2013 un-plasticised).<\/p>\n

Operating Temperature<\/p>\n

-5\u00b0C to +60\u00b0C (The product should not be exposed to the upper temperature limit for prolonged periods of time).<\/p>\n

Fire Performance:<\/p>\n

Non-flame propagating \u2013 under an applied flame the flame does not propagate & will extinguish itself once the applied flame is removed. Does not drip flaming particles.<\/p>\n

To the requirements of BS EN 61386-1:2008<\/p>\n

Chemical Properties<\/p>\n

Excellent resistance to many chemical<\/p>\n

solutions including those of weak acids,<\/p>\n

strong & weak alkalis, alcohols, aliphatic<\/p>\n

hydrocarbons and is soluble or will swell in<\/p>\n

ketones.<\/p>\n

Water Absorption<\/p>\n

Negligible. PVC-u is impervious to damp<\/p>\n

conditions and will not corrode.<\/p>\n

Electrical Properties<\/p>\n

PVC-u is non-conductive and therefore will<\/p>\n

not become live due to accidental contact<\/p>\n

with live conductors. It has a typical<\/p>\n

insulation resistance of more than 100MO<\/p>\n
